step out to cure diabetes

At the bottom of this blog there is a link where you can donate/contribute to a GREAT CAUSE! I (John) have had Type 1 Diabetes for 18 years. Diabetes impacts over 23 million people (MANY of them are children/teenagers). I have worked at a camp for diabetic children now for over 10 years. I am the director for the "explorers" program...my group works with the 3rd-5th graders (our entire camp works with kids up to seniors in high school). Helping children understand that as diabetics they can live a normal life and accomplish their dreams like everyone else is really important to me.
