Oh how things change!
Someone this morning asked me what exciting plans we had for the weekend. So I responded without thinking "grocery shopping." Yes, I count that as exciting. I would never have counted John or I as the "party type" (shocking I know) yet I never thought grocery shopping would constitute the highlight of weekend. I think a part of the reason I am excited about going is that we are starting VEGGIES this weekend! Its so crazy! Abby turns 5 months old on Sunday so we are going to start adding more flavors into her diet (as I am sure rice cereal gets boring). I am going to be making her baby food to save money as well as keep her food as organic/natural as possible. This website is a wonderful resource for any one looking to do the same! It has tons of great information! I will be sure to post pics!

Isn't it funny how motherhood changes your life (for the better)? I am the same way...going to the store (alone) or running any errand alone is a great thing for me on the weekends. It give Jon time with the girls and I get to run errands without lugging a diaper bag and the girls and stroller in and out of the car. I count that as pretty good "me" time now, whereas I used to think "me" time involved something just for me (ie...mani, pedi, clothes shopping, massage, etc...)
Yea for Abby turning 5 months!! Solid foods are always a trip! I love the reaction peas get! lol
